Candied Pecans

A yummy salad topper.

Ingredients

  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 lb pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250F
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Mix sugar, cinnamon and salt together; set aside.
  4. Whisk egg and water until frothy.
  5. Toss pecans in egg mixture; add sugar mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Spread onto baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
